Trajectory Of Transformation

What will transform your life?

Education.
Yeah, but what in it?
Well, something that propels my learning.

Here is how Propel Education System propels learning across your school.

  1. Instructional Leadership Lab. The instructional leaders are core to teaching and learning in a school, hence PES begins with enabling them
  2. Benchmark Assessment of Teachers & Foundation Course with a focus to build knowledge and skills to implement the Propel curriculum
  3. Parents are given orientation about Propel Education System along with Propel Parents Handbook and how to use it
  4. Teachers learn Pedagogic Content Knowledge (PCK) of a particular unit and take PCK test to ensure they have gathered the basic knowledge and skills to teach BEFORE they teach
  5. Teacher uses tPad as her core teaching tool to add power to her teaching. With tPad in her hand, the teacher is no more tied to the front of the class…She moves around and everywhere! She teaches the class from wherever she is and attends to each student.
  6. Students learn from Propel’s extra-ordinary curriculum, based on experiential learning
  7. Students work on Extended Practice Modules (EPMs) to consolidate learnt concepts and skills
  8. Students take unit-end tests, tailor-made to each class as desired by the teacher, real-time result
  9. Teacher shares the assessment results with students along with her feedback. Uses results to inform her/his teaching, as per students’ learning needs
  10. Students’ achievement goes up, school attains larger reach, better result, higher credibility in community, better learning and higher fees

Teacher’s English

What is the most effective tool the teacher uses to reach out to the learners?

Effective communication.
Teachers with powerful ways of communicating leave indelible impressions.

Propel brings to you the world-class Burlington English (BE), an on-line and face-to-face blended programme that accelerates the rate of learning spoken English. It is the only programme with a built-in Speech engine. This speech engine recognizes the speaker’s accent and corrects it.

BE offers general English ranging from elementary to Advanced levels. Teachers of English Language have a special Module built in for effective teaching techniques, and Language tools.

A facilitator is trained in every school to hand-hold learners throughout.

Propel’s Model of Teaching, Learning and Testing (TLT)
Propel’s robust model teaching, learning and testing has been built on the foundational theory of Hawkins’ I, Thou, It. It recognises the supremacy of three elements in learning, and their interaction.

PES Methodology

What makes you learn and yet not feel contented?

Phew…that is a tough one.
No, you simply go round and round, in the Learning Cycle.

Propel puts you right in the learning cycle.

We also call it Experiential Learning Cycle.
No prizes for guessing its meaning. Your learning begins with doing something in which you experience it, and then you are prodded to reflect on it. In such a seemingly insignificant questioning and passive looking at your experience, you begin to make powerful conceptual connections, many of which connect coherently together make conceptual frameworks and models. Then you apply these concepts and frameworks to solve a real life problem or create something that is so powerful that it fetches you a Nobel!
It is that simple.

Propel pushes the learning cycle further by adding practice and assessment to the cycle. Everybody wants to know if learning has actually happened! Of course, Propel does this by providing you all the tools and resources that a teacher or a student needs to complete the cycle well.
